Knowledge reqired here !! I have a 1958 chevy pickup front axle (6 stud) and I want to run my (5 stud) wheels. is there truth in the fact that 54 chevy sedan drums will fit right on?? or is it a case of welding up holes a drilling new......
54 p***enger drums and hubs do fit. I'm not sure if you have to change the backing plates like you do on the AD trucks. With those you have to swap the backing plates along with the shoes. You may have to change or mix and match the inner race or bearing though.
