    hey everyone
I am working on a buddys c10 pickup. He bought the booster, mastercyl, and proportioning valve kit from POL specifically for his truck.
I myself have been a mechanic fulltime since 1999, I am ase certified in brakes and many other things, ( i am not tooting my horn just explaining that this isnt my first rodeo) Thsi is a disc front drum rear
I am haveing a hell of a time bleeding this system. POL says im not bleeding it right, and not bench bleeding it right.
    1. I have bled it on the bench with there bench bleed hose kit, I have used my fingers to bleed it by blocking it off. I have tried everything,
    2. I have tried bleeding it on hte truck.
    3. I have used my power bleeder that forces fluid in the master and sucks out the bleeders.
    4. I have drip bled it
    5. I have adjusted all brakes 5 times
the problem is, I will let it drip bleed for a night keeping it full, when i pump the pedal they feel decent, then i crack the line, they have good drop, then after that it has no pedal or fluid flow.'
I noticed tonight when i bench bled the master that when i was useing there hose kit i would watch about a inch of fluid pump out of the master cyl in the hose and when i let the master back out it would suck in 5 inches of fluid,
I cant get the front chamber to bleed properly and i think this is my issue, i think that the master is crap.
I went and got a new one from the parts store and it has a different piston inside the bore that is recessed. I need to get a part number or new one from POL but i cant get ahold of them till morn.
Do you guys think i am on the right track i am just frustrated as hell.
I before ya ask i have adjusted the pedal so it has full travel and that the master cyl is completely out before the stroke starts to go in
    anything would be great
    HELP:mad:

Take the master apart if you think it is bad. If it's bad, you will see something wrong. Advice from an ex-ASE in brakes :)
