'34 Ford coupe- back in 96 changed the brakes to a 1940's hydraulic set up and used a 16" wheel tire combo - stock axle.

Skip to 2004 - put in a dropped axle and went to 15" wires, but it makes my LF hose snake really bad.

What I need to do is find a kit for putting those brackets under the frame, so I can plumb the LF hose thru that and I'd like to use braided hose, but it's not a must.

Ques: do you know of a kit w/ brackets and hose that the hose will fit my older wheel cylinders? (is all brake hose the same thread?)

    hope this makes sense...

  2. if you wanted braided hose , Pure Choice Motorsports has everything you need. for the frame tab , you can get one from them and screw it to the frame if you don't want to weld on a painted frame...if you want to weld you can do that too

`40 ford wheel cylinders have a 7/16-20 thread...you will need adapters from that to the 3 or 4 AN line. then an adapter from AN to inverted flair for your hard lines , either 3/16 or 1/4 inverted flair. the AN braided line is available in about any length
