I find it hard in these times to source parts like fittings and hoses for brake plumbing. Used to go into local parts houses and rummage through the Dorman drawers and snag what I needed. That is all behind counters now. Unless you have a model, year, and color of vehicle, it seems a pain to find generic stuff. Any help on online sources to order some things?

you need to find a good parts store. there are a few near me that let customers walk right up to the dorman/weatherhead cabinets...........please if you take something out of the drawer and don't use it put it back in the place you found it......

Use your computer, find the dorman number and call the local parts house and see if they have it. I don't trust them to catalog parts anymore.

If you have a local store that makes hydraulic hoses you might check there. If you know what you want, check the Weatherhead site for the part #. Then you could call the store with that #. If they don't carry that brand they could probable cross reference it for you.

Oreileys and Autozone both let me go in back a sort through their slide boxes, and i do when in a bind and cant order on line. If only doing one car, that's probably cheapest once you add in shipping from online sources.
