brake question: 53 ford car

    i have a friend looking to convert his 53 ford customline to disc brakes in the front. i have looked in the usual catalogs for conversion kits but have found nothing. has anyone done one? are they the same as a truck?
    thanks for any help

    Try ECI (Engineered Components INc.) in Connecticut. It seems to me I saw a kit in their ad.

    We do carry the disc brake conversion. Available in 5 on 4 1/2 or 5 on 4 3/4 bolt patterns. Give us a call for details

    Here is my 53 Merc, it uses a Jamco disc brake kit
