I am to the point I need to mock-up my brakes on my A pickup project. Is there a company that sells complete rebuild kits, for 53 ford F1 front brakes and 47 ford pickup rears:confused: All of my internal pars are for the most part junk or not there at all. I have the backing plates and drums and if they will turn, those should not be a problem.

    Thanks D1

  2. Turn the drums first.

Then go to Carquest and order wheel cylinders, shoes, and a spring kit

I recently did brakes on my 36' ford pickup with 39' truck running gear. I ended up finding it hard to get the parts, NAPA had wheel cylinders for way too much money what I couldn't rebuild I found at a early ford parts house called Little Dearborn in St. Paul MN, I think they are in the web. Another place online was Mac's antique ford parts, something along those lines, I think between the too they should have the stuff you need.
