no, cylinder size is based on pressure required to apply the brake lining at the required pressure , once the systyem is full your "flowing" bugger all, and not filling anything. Its all about pressure applied not flow. if you need to displace more fluid you need a longer cylinder but if you look around you wont find long cylinders ( long cylinder or long pedal travel but that indicates a fault). The piston in your master wouldnt move 1/4 inch (ish). .If it does somethings wrong.

Saw this today on a 32 roadster. Didn’t talk to the owner. Automatic car no clutch. Might be a balance bar behind the firewall. 4F8902BC-A323-4FD6-94CB-1DE160A60F0B.jpeg

In an effort to find more info & in response to what's been said here concerning combo valves , i offer this ; some valves are for distribution plus a pressure activated warning , some include those plus proportioning (it seems of rear brakes only ) some include metering also . The function of the" safety " aspect remains a mystery , some accounts say it "closes off" the leaking part of the system , some say it doesn't . here's the best picture I could find that : Distributes , Meters, Activates the safety lite & proportions. hope this creates more understanding
