On my model a build I have a 68 mustang manual disk drum master with gm calipers up front and a ford 9" rear with drums out back. Master is under the floor with residual valves a foot from the master and an adj prop valve on the rear. The brakes bled fine but the master now has a very definite place that it just stops in the middle of it. Not a normal feeling pedal but a very defined stop. The front and rear brakes drag very bad. you can't hardly turn a wheel when jacked in the air. What went wrong? The residuals are in the correct way. There is an arrow on them. Thanks

  2. Disconnect the pedal push rod and see if you can roll the wheels.
If so it means your push rod is too long, holding the plunger in.

You need to eliminate and isolate the issues to see if its mechanical at the wheel, geometrical at the pedal, or hydraulic

I agree. Adj. the push rod shorter until you can see the M/C piston just retract past the compensating port, as seen thru the reservoir.

I had the same problem with MC under floor board....I do not remember who made it ...but it was a compression spring placed between the MC and push rod
