Brakes for 1947 Dodge 1 Ton truck

Are there any brake upgrades for this truck as in disc kits or more modern drum setups that'll "bolt up"?

 

You may get better results on a forum for old trucks.

Yeah, I've posted the same question on the 39-47 Dodge truck Yahoo group. I just thought that someone here might know as well. The repsonse here is typically faster.
