Thanks for all the replies fellas! I bled the brakes better today and went for a drive. Now the only problem is I turn the steering wheel right as I'm braking 'cause I got used to correcting for the pull! Now I'm comfortable that the whole system minus a few hard lines is new and hopefully dependable!
The pedal still feels a little spongy compared to the best I've ever had it, but it stops fine and straight ahead!
Thanks again and if you're ever stopped in front of me no need to worry!

I am dealing with the same issue right now. I luckily haven't got the car completely road worthy just yet, because......when I jacked up the front end to grease the kingpin setup, I removed the drum to check the bearings and 1. they were shot and the bearings just fell out, and 2. the bolt on the upper control arm nearest the rad was loose. Could have been a bit scary if I had just glanced over the front end and was driving it. But the main reason I was under the front end was to do with a similar issue. Under breaking, the steering wheel pulled hard to the left. So, as a safety precaution I would check and replace any of the above mentioned parts for piece of mind. I'm also replacing all of the brake hoses on mine a.s.a.p.

I had a scary moment in a 64 chev truck at about 40mph and having no brake pedal due to an old brake line coming apart after I had gone over some speed bumps. Believe me, that was not fun, but thank God it had a good emergency brake. That is something I will make sure works on ALL of my old cars/trucks.

    Be safe out there.

Im glad this thread was brought back up! I have been fighting this same problem with my 58 ford for 6 months now! Wheel bearings are all new, brakes have been adjusted, but when i start driving, hard pulls to left every time i brake. After a few stops it quits though. I now know what i am doing this weekend....new wheel cylinders!! Yay me!!!?!!!
