Usually from a br*** sheep.

 

Only the ewes, the rams all have br*** balls.

 

Don't know how much you are looking for, but if it is just a handfull or two, we use these at work to clean our soldering iron tips. I've seen similar material used to make br*** brillo pads too. Maybe you'll find those in the grocery store.

You're probably looking for a walk in pick it up place, can't help you with that but you can order it from mcmaster carr. They also have stainless and aluminum wool.
