I Scanned this picture from a collection of my mothers old photos and thought of the post from Chris in Spokane when he took his truck out on the icy slip and slide. Like many of us, he braved the elements to get his pickup out for a family cruise and picture. These days it takes some stones to take our rods out in really rough weather, I know a lot of us do it though. Think about the days when our classic baby was out every day and seldom saw a carport or garage!
Thought it would be cool to see if anybody else had old photos of vintage tin in 5 feet of snow, or mud, or?

The Great Armistice Day Blizzard of 1940. Shut down Iowa and Minnesota for weeks, and claimed 145 lives.

    Holy crap:eek:

I was just thinking that back East one of the biggest enemies of vintage tin was salt on the roads. Out west we take our rods to the salt on purpose.:D
