Actually, the OP was asking about break in oil.

The fellow with an at***ude was complaining that no-one had read about the new formulation of EOS.

The last thing I had heard was that EOS was still perfectly good and I recommended that based on what I knew.

Next thing I know we're being called out for not having read his other post all about the new formulation of GM EOS.

I imagine that you double-check everything that you've -known- to be correct before posting about it too.

I don't plan on ignoring it, it's a good thing to know.

That's the thing about knowledge, you don't -know- until someone tells you. I didn't know that EOS had been changed until you said something about it. I hadn't read your earlier post and you seemed quite pissed off about it.

You don't get it man.

I said I was wrong, I'm glad you posted the information. I didn't know they had changed the formula until you posted about it.

If you want to get all upset, that's your problem.

I'm an engine builder with 25 years of good results behind me. I used to use Kendall 20 weight non detergent motor oil. Then Joe Gibbs surfaced with his own brand he developed when he had the NASCAR team. Grumpy Jenkins told me Joe was developing a new "Break-in lubricant." I was able to speak to one of the Gibbs Team mechanics who told me about what they were doing. I was even lucky enough to be given six quarts to try. WOW! I used it in a rebuild and then after 500 miles tore the engine down to see what it looked like. The results were amazing. The main and cam bearings showed almost no wear at all. Google up Joe Gibbs motor oils and read about the product. I buy if now by the gallons containers. I am in no way ***ociated with Mr. Gibbs or his firm but I am a very pleased user now.

it had been posted that they had pulled the old formula EOS and it was a new part number and the label now said break in additive and not engine oil supplement long before FalconGeorge came along...
