storing it while we work on it will be fine, my only concern was where to keep it after we finish it.. how about naming it "The Swine" or "Lil' Swine" and painting it pink like a pig haha
As far as storing it after its done, I will have another shop by then so no problem there!!! And I assume we will be using my Truck and Trailer to haul it so it will be easy to pick up and go!!!! John
I like the Pig theme! I was thinking apple smoked pig, like "Bacon Buggy" or "Makin Bacon"... Hey, I guess I completely misunderstood the storing as we work on it deal. That's huge. As far as storing it when we're done, I'm sure we can find someplace...I got a few leads as far as that goes. I might actually be able to free up some room in my storage space... So I'm supposed to pick up the front and rear end from the '39 today...Are you set up at the space yet, to store some parts?

well it looks like the "Bacon Bandits" is going to stick now we need to name the car (actually we need to build it) sticking with the pig thing kind of makes it easy, at least for the first car. so i guess this will be the start of: "The Bacon Bandits Anti-Donut Breakfast Meet" or just "The Bacon Bandits Breakfast Meet"
Talk about dredging up an old memory, Your thread reminded me of a silly pseudo dice game we got many years ago called Pig Mania (yes, I do have a point here). The soft plastic pigs would land on one of several given "sides" when rolled, these "side" combinations were delegated names and scored according to probability. It's the names that were a hoot, and they include your "Makin' Bacon" (which is a foul, by the way ). Just couldn't resist this one, enjoy .......
all these post about storage and shop space makes me wonder just how many of us are really interested in shop space? and if so how much s everyone will to pay? I have been wanting some shop space for awhile myself. who would be willing to go in on shop space? my thought is if we get a large enough space maybe a few of us could go in on it. Im sure there are a few details that would need to be worked out but maybe a large space split up by a few guys would work. whats everyone elses thoughts?

The "When Pigs Fly" mascot could be a bomber style pig, with wings and flight helmet and goggles. Like hes swooping down to do a bombing run, like most of us have to do after breakfast. We could call it War Pigs, too. But I like the other better.
