So sorry to see this, Breeder. I've got no other words. I feel for all the people effected by all this.
Damn Todd, sorry to see that, hope you guys are safe, holla if you need anything, not sure what I could do, prayers bro.
So sorry to receive this news. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Reed family during this crisis. Todd, let me know whatever I can do to help you.
Todd said the second pic is of his place.. unbelievable. check out the link http://ftpcontent.worldnow.com/wgem/FoxRiverFloodingPhotos.pdf
That really ****s. Good thing the Bar and Grille is on high ground. The thought crossed my mind that there are enough of us in the area we could do a HAMB "swap meet" or auction with all proceeds going to help Breeder rebuild. I've got some spare goodies I'd be glad to donate and not "garage fill" either, good parts, some still NIB. A set of 350 pistons, Comp roller cam for SBC, a couple nice SBC intakes and other odds and ends........ I'm sure others have spare parts extra tools, wheels, etc. I'm a ****py organizer but I'd be glad to donate some parts and maybe haul a pickup load from the Quad Cities if my work schedule ( and cranky old truck ) allows. What do you say guys?
Man, can't believe how bad that ****s! From the look of the aerial views, somebody was in some pretty nasty water to take the picture in the first post. Did this breach happen unexpectedly, or was there some warning?
No S++t. Been thinking the same thing and then I see this. Dead gr*** ain't so bad compared to what others are dealing with. Hope everythings OK for him.
From his post on FB they are staying with friends right now, It sounds like he put stuff that he did not want to get wet in his cars, And his tools are in the Van, It does not look like that worked in his favor as all of his old cars are parked behind his work van that you see in the picture and you can not see the cars because they are under water, Im in for helping out as well, Todd when you get on here and have some time just tell us what you need,
I'm sorry to see this happen to you (or anyone!) but I'm really glad to hear that you and your family are alright. Blessings and prayers for you all.
Sad thing is it's all over the upper midwest and the water is still being released north of them, I hate to see that, helped a friend clean up after a flood several years ago and it destroys everything.
Todd, I know I can't help much from NC, but I can pray for you and the others affected by these levy breeches. Consider it done!! If there's anything I or the Chapel can help with, let us know!
