Somebody once told me, "If you can't laugh at yourself once in awhile you don't have any business laughing at anybody else". You obviously have no issues with laughing at yourself Todd.:D:cool:

I wanted to thank you so much for everything, everything. It seems so minimal just to post thanks on here. God certainly has kept us in his favor with the love, help, prayers, auctions that you have provided us with. I love all of you and look forward to thanking you in person the next time I see you! God Bless all of you!

  13. Breeder,
My family is looking at a place about 35-40 minutes east of Joplin......what part of Missouri are you from? I'm not very familiar with the state.
You're an inspiration to watch after everything you've been through, you still keep a good attitude. Lots to learn from you. Keep it up!

I guess in the end, it's just good your family is safe and your good humor remains! Good thing you still have a nice pool ladder as well. :D

Good luck with everything, man! Fingers crossed and thoughts with you!

Soon as this damn 115 degree shit is over, I'm really gonna start freaking on some bastards!

Unblievable damage, I've helped several friends after a flood, but not with current like that, can't think of much worse than trying to salvage anything out of that mud. Sorry for your loss and hope you are able to recover.

ha ha! those undies are stylin!
well, i got ahold of a levee board member last night and he just got a call yesterday from the corp. they have found enough money to do the survey part of it..meaning basically finding out how much damage there is and whatnot! so, it basically means that I'm for sure out of my house for at least 2 months! it'll be a couple weeks for the surveys are done. then all the bs paper work has to be filed...then there will be at least a 30 bidding process, then however long it takes them to complete the work! on a lil happier note, they still may declare our flood a disaster! so there may be money to fix the farm land up ! fingers crossed! ohh, and i have to remember to tell them about my heated 90-70 shop with 2 lifts, and all snap on tools that floated away! :) on a side note, are there any photo shoppers reading this? pm me!!!! LOL :p
    still hope!

What a mess you got there breeder! I was flooded in 79 with 4 feet water in the house but not near the mud you have but hell it wiped out most of our shit. I took my time tonight to look over in detail all your pictures and did see them all. I got the the video but could only handle about 2 minutes and shut it off. Man that's painfull as hell just looking and I know the pain but hell you got your health and family and that's the most important part..I also know the wait on the government to get off there ass and do something (been there and done that also) and hopefully it wont be to much longer. In the mean time we will dig up some more goodies for auction and do all we can for you and the family. God Bless.

Ray, if I could ever get Henry to have time to burn me a cd, he has some grainy but really crazy 15 sec vids or the break itself! Yeah, got my family, and my health is as crappy as it's always been! Lol
http://ftpcontent.worldnow.com/wgem/FoxRiverFloodingPhotos.pdf I can't take pics out of this individually but the second pic was taking just a few hrs after it started breaking! U can still see the tops of the back row of cars and there's only one and not 50 trees I'n my yard n field! Lol
I've been through a lot of floods for many a yrs but this is the first time it's ever broke at the house. Ahh well, my turn I guess. Coulda been worse, could have lost our crack shack double wide to! ;)
