You know Breeder, I'm sure glad you've matured since your Hippy days. Those old photos you've showed of you in your younger days. Seriously, One thing about you Todd, you've always been there for me, for us, for who ever needs you. You are who you are. A piece of Gold, covered in mud, (at the moment). But, even covered in mud, that heart of gold you have, comes shinning through. God Bless you for that. I still don't know about adopting you, but I would be proud to be your (insert gender here) childs godfather. Dallas aka HellRaiser
Sympathy from our house to your friend and his terrible loss. I hate reading about that as my 11 year old girl sits on my lap correcting my spelling, very sad. The ongoing story of your flood is fascinating and the pics are amazing/terrible to see, as a farmer I can't imagine land being flooded like that and ever used again, wow. Your positive attitude inspires me, and you have a beautiful wife, and good looking kids, so on the worst days you have them making the day better ( I'm sure you know that already) . Good luck on the family growing and on your flood damage repair, you are due some luck I'd think by now.
wow i used to get balloons for poopin in the toilet too.. now with no guaranty of balloon its kinda iffy
Congrats to Mrs and Mr Breeder on the news of another helper and employee for Reeds Diner. Sorry for DD loss.... thats a nightmare none of us wants to have. our prayers are with his family, and the Reeds too.
Dallas u r too kind bud! It would be an honor to have ya as godfather of our newest addition! Couldn't think of a better one to be so!
Thanks everyone. To kind Dion, I just seen where ya bought some stickers. I can't find them at the moment! Not even sure where I put them. I'll keep looking bud.
Home / News July 27, 2011 Blunt, McCaskill Call For Disaster Declaration Funding For Missouri Senators Send Letter To President Asking For Help For Missourians Affected By Severe Weather Across The State WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Roy Blunt (Mo.) and Claire McCaskill (Mo.) sent a letter to President Barack Obama in support of Governor Jay Nixon’s request for a disaster declaration for 23 counties in Missouri in the wake of severe flooding, high winds, hail and tornados that have caused damage throughout the state since the beginning of June. Missouri River flooding has severely impacted levee systems, causing damage to homes, businesses and farmland. The granting of a disaster declaration is essential to help Missouri communities who continue to be burdened by the extreme costs they have incurred in the ongoing effort to protect life and property, especially in light of tornados and flooding that have severely impacted the state this year. Governor Nixon has requested Individual Assistance (including the Individuals and Households Program (IHP), Disaster Unemployment Assistance, Crisis Counseling, and the Case Management System) for Adair, Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, CLARK, Holt, Lafayette, Lewis, Platte, St. Charles, and Sullivan Counties; Public Assistance (all categories) for Adair, Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Carroll, Chariton, Clark, Holt, Howard, Knox, Lafayette, Lewis, Linn, Macon, Marion, Monroe, Platte, Ralls, Ray, Saline, Shelby, and Sullivan Counties; Hazard Mitigation (entire state) in the amount of twenty percent of the estimated aggregate amount of grants to be made with respect to this major disaster; and Small Business Administration disaster loans. The full text of the letter is below. Dear Mr. President, On July 25, 2011, Governor Jay Nixon requested a disaster declaration for the State of Missouri as a result of the severe storms that have generated flooding, flash flooding, high winds, hail and tornadoes throughout the state since June 1, 2011.* Many of the affected communities have been engaged in flood-fight activities due to severe flooding along the Missouri River. These events have already resulted in the destruction of homes, farms and businesses.* In several cases, communities have been evacuated for several weeks due to flooding and high water levels are expected to continue along the river into the fall. The state and local communities continue to be burdened by the extreme costs that have been incurred in the ongoing effort to protect life and property.* Therefore, we respectfully urge your swift approval of this disaster declaration request.* The Governor has included 23 jurisdictions in this request.* On June 30, 2011, an Emergency Disaster Declaration (EM-3325) was declared, authorizing direct federal assistance to these jurisdictions.* On July 14, the Governor requested joint FEMA/state preliminary damage assessments; due to ongoing flooding, many of these assessments were conducted via fixed wing aircraft, helicopter, boat and automobile vehicle.* While many of these assessments are still being conducted, the Governor determined that the nature of this event necessitates a declaration request at this time. The severity and magnitude of this disaster, particularly in light of tornadoes and flooding that have severely impacted communities in the state this year, has led the Governor to determine that an effective response to this event is beyond the capabilities of the state and affected local governments.* Again, it is our hope that you will grant Governor Nixon’s request promptly, to help communities recover from this latest disaster.* Along with our fellow Missourians, we eagerly await your decision on this request for assistance. * Sincerely, Claire McCaskill United Stares Senator * * * * * Roy Blunt United States Senator************************************** ### Permalink: http://blunt.senate.gov/public/inde...for-disaster-declaration-funding-for-missouri Related Links In the News Photo Gallery Press Releases Radio Actualities Videos Weekly Column Office Contact Info Washington, D.C.
