We had a great time playing with him on Friday. They oversold the venue by about 500 tickets, so it was PACKED... about 2000 people. We got to meet him after the show and Setzer was a really nice guy, especially after we got him talking about hot rods. Slim Jim hid in the bus after the set though, so we didn't get to meet him. The Rockabilly Riot set was really good, and a solid 1.5 hours, too!
I got to see the show last night in St. Louis and it was amazing! The Riot is awesome and the three upright basses on stage at once was outstanding! If you get a chance I suggest you hit one of these shows. (Played Folsom Prison, something I had never heard live). Check'em out!
Wow! What a show. You guys in Austin are in for a treat. I think he was impressed with Wichita. Said he would be back again. I know I won't miss it if thay come back. One of the best we've seen.
Yes, sean at the House of Blues ,Dec 2 in Chicago Ill Wtih a group of 28 Friends it was fantastic, Great, and all that stuff, kick ass,
I loved it! Those guys can really play. I love watching great musicians play. Perfect end to the night
Going to see him at the Gibson Amphiteater on Dec. 17th, cant wait been trying to get down and see him for the last 4 years.
Great show! Never disappoints! During the show, I worked my way to the front. After they turned on the lights, the guy next to me was looking for something on the stage. I asked him what he was looking for, and he said on of the guitar picks Brian threw was thrown in that direction. I helped him look, but couldn't find anything. When we got to our hotel, I took off my 68 CBS shirt without un-buttoning it, so I could fold it and put it back in my bag. Guess what fell out of my left shirt pocket? Yep, the guitar pick that Brian threw in our direction! It fell in there and I didn't even feel it! Well, but then again I was a little tipsy!
Hands down best rockabilly show couple weeks ago in Altoona, Iowa!!!! I am officially getting a standup base now!!!!
