Hot Rods Brookville A decklid and latch?

Guys,
28 A coupe, have a Brookville lid (rumble seat) but was looking at the interior frame and it looks more 30/31 then the 28/29 style (it is a 28/29 lid). Where do we mount the rumble latch and the catch for the latch? do I change to the 30/31 style mounting of these bits? Id rather leave it as 28/29 style fitment but that looks like cutting a section out of the inner frame, making a new bit and welding that in. Also on the original latch there is a top hat bit that goes in under the handle's escutcheon plate, is there anyone that sells new ones (second item from left in photo)? is there an anti rattle spring missing or? thanks
