I need a firewall for a '33 pickup and all the used ones are big $$$.Has anyone used a Brookville '32 firewall? They are $425,a gl*** one is $199. Is the the plastic one strong enough? the firewall maintains the cowl shape and I prefer steel. Any alternatives that aren't street rod looking? Anyone got one for less?

Go with the Brookville, especially if you are going with out a hood.

Hot Rods and Custom Stuff in Escondido makes a steel Deuce firewall as well. Might (or might not) be worth the effort to shop around a bit.

*****in makes a steel firewall kit for your truck. A possible steel compromise for less dollars.

It may be more than a just a simple bolt in...trying to use a repro Deuce firewall in a 33 cab. I'd make certain before laying out the big bucks for the steel reproduction. A lot would depend on how your original welded firewall was removed.
