Took her three of four days to look at it.. about the same time that she started talking to me again... My buddy who went with me to get it said .."sure you don't want your money back .. Tracey is going to kill ya ! " Still surprised when she said .. get a motor in it and don't make a racer out of it .. so I can drive it ? Jaw about hit the floor...
You can get a MII that will bolt to that frame and the suspension that's under it now is a bolt in also. Not exactly CanAm geometry but a **** load better than the early Chevy/Vette suspension. Besides, then you can get parts readily if needed and your upgrading to a rack and pinion steering. Also I'd look into the possibility of a coil-over suspended truck arm rear suspension. If there is room that would upgrade the rear for better handling. I can't imagine the fun your going to have with that. Be sure to keep us updated as you get to the rebuild. Frank
very cool. I could have sworn some guy just bought a t-buckety thing with a kellison ch***is stuffed under it. *edit*...it was a wildfire ch***is...
Great find. You really had to know your stuff to complete one of those old kit cars. Prolly why there's so many unfinished ones out there. Good luck with this one, great looking car!
