I'm running my at stock height in the back now but originally had it 2" lower with 28 x 15 x 10.5 Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pros on the back with American Racing Torque thrust wheels, not the D series. The wheels are 15x10 with 5.00" backspacing. They cleared just fine with the 2" lower blocks but I was not getting the weight transfer I wanted at the drag strip.
There is room for a 12" tire there but the wheels need to be custom with 6.5" of back spacing and no body makes these at the the time I built her. I am running a Ford 8.8" (from a 1987 Thunderbird turbo coupe) rear end with Moser axles and Ranger drum brakes. It is the same exact width from the outside drum to drum as the stock Hudson rear end.

Got the car running and have driven it around town. Still need to sort out some carb issues, but I think it will be fine.

I lowered the front by cutting one coil and that was plenty. On the rear I installed 3 inch lowering blocks and got it to where I was comfortable. I'll have to take some more shots and post them.
