I’m doing the roof of my F100 in .015 Beever Brown flake . I used a test panel and used black as the base coat then house of Kolor interclear. Not real sure if black is the right base for this. Thinking maybe a rootbeer or metallic brown would look better. Any advice or pics of brown flake?

I'd suggest test panels with different base colors AND looking at them in different lights.
Show cars have to look good under florescent, NSRA contenders often have to look good under sunlight, etc.
