I don't know Bruce. I have never met the man. It seems that he knows everything there is to know about old fords though. The few dumb questions I have asked, have been professionally answered and correct! And with over 13, 600 posts, he is one dedicated HAMBER I just want to publicly say THANK YOU BRUCE! It is gentlemen like you that have kept this sport going strong for so many years. Thank You and God Bless
He is on the top of many "HAMB Members I'd Like to Meet" lists. Thanks for all your great posts Bruce!
Seems like a great guy, I'd like to buy him a prune juice sometime! Kidding with you Bruce, always enjoy reading your posts.
agree 100% he is a valuable member... or he's completely full of shit and nobody'd figured it out yet.. JUST KIDDING...He knows his stuff
No doubt he is a amazing fellow and who knows possibly some day our path may cross. I really like reading his post for sure.
you know you have reached HAMB god status when a thread is started with you as the title....bruce you are an invaluable source of knowledge and experience, you have kept my flathead running beautifully
Not only everything mentioned above is true, he's also the one who first suggested the Andy Dunn Memorial Fund.
Having befriended him in person, his brain is a virtual library of old Ford knowledge, and his garage matches! Imagine walking into a forcefield crammed with so much neat stuff you are neat silent not knowing what to ask about first!
Bruce, his throbbing brain and his (I'm assuming) personal MASSIVE library of automotive data are the common denominator in all of the searches I've done regarding early Ford parts. Even when he's answered the same question in 5 or 6 threads, it's courteous, well written, and thorough (as opposed to Thoreau, and I hold him in the same regard).
Add me to the list of Mr.Lancaster Fans! I imagine part of his "Top Secret" facility looking like this....
Vast knowledge and never rude or degrading...yep I like Bruce too. He seems like one of the guys that has been there done that but without the attitude that some of the other wisemen around here possess.
I don't know what more that could be added that wasn't mentioned; but thanks Bruce!! Is that really your library?
I also dont know Bruce personally,But that guy has one hell of a wealth of knowledge. Great guy and I always read all his posts and replies. As they are straight forward and no bull shit attached with actual facts and no fiction. He is the Hamb Historian with old Fords.
Bruce has helped me repeatedly. I wish he would write a book or something. Can you imagine? A book covering the major components/systems/oddities from '32-'48. I'd buy 2. JH
