Anyone talk with him lately ?? Noticed the other day I had'nt seen him post in a while..

 

He was on Fordbarn yesterday.

 

According to his profile, he hasn't been on here since 2-22-10.

 

Could just be taking a break.

 

I sent him a PM some time back & haven't heard from him.

Kinda worried about him...

maybe they converted him over to one of those restorer types...

 

Been a tough year for him...he could just be taking a break. Or he's sick of us.

Also, if memory serves his book is scheduled to come out shortly and that might be taking up some time.

Hope it's something along one of those lines.

His wife p***ed away last September and maybe he is just taking a sabbatical to get away from all us crazy people. HRP

 

Mabey the book coming out is taking up all his time with book signings and tv shows

 

Maybe he is on a kind of Native American Indian-type vision quest.

Instead of being off in a dessert or forrest somewhere, he is waist deep in a pile of greasy and rusty '32 parts.

Satisfying his spiritual needs by being surrounded by old Ford parts and meeting his nutritional needs by eating only sardines and taking sips of orange Tang.

 

Yes and bathing in burnt hydrualic oil to clense his soul....

Sardines and Tang..... Where's the puking smiley when you need it???




Bruce where'd ya go?!?!?!? There's guys with old parts and they don't know what they are, what ever are they to do with out your m***ive knowledge base?

 

I always enjoyed his postings. What kind of books does he write?

 

I thing his book is about everything you would ever ask about flatheads. That way if you want to know sumthin, he can sell you one. I put in an order for one a while back.

Not to hijack the thread but has anyone heard from Bluto (sp) ?.

 

Last I heard was last week (OFC) he was traveling & on the left coast visiting, not sure when after that, back to Poland?

 

That may be why he's not answering anything on the board, wants to sell the book instead.

 

Is he the same Bruce Lancaster that has written all the history books?

 

I'm fairly certain it's not but, he certainly could.

 

Even if you dont know him or have never owned a flathead, that remark is just wrong. Do a basic search on his statistics, he has contributed more than anyone could imagine and responded to all things flathead, consistently...by choice. We should buy all copies printed out of respect for his contributions here on the HAMB alone.

 

My thoughts as well. He has never failed to answer a pm.

 

I've preordered a copy. It'll be great reading, even for someone who doesn't own a flathead.

 

That one p***ed away in '63.

 

Bruce is pretty much why I signed up to the HAMB. I was doing searches and came across a few of his posts and for me to read more I needed to be a member to search. I don't know him but I never scroll past a post of his. He's an early Ford guru.

 

Same here...I look forward to his posts, I always learn something new!
