So sorry for your loss. It does sound like your wife lived her life to the fullest. Not everyone can say that.

Bruce you are a lucky, lucky man to have had Alice in your life. She was a real angel here on earth. I'm bummed I never got the chance to meet her as I can tell we would have been life long friends. Thanks for sharing a bit of her life with us.

It is always so hard to try to come up with suitable words for such a sad occasion, I guess it comes down to the fact that there just aren't sufficient words.

In any case, I offer my utmost respect, my condolences, and prayers for God's blessings, strength, and comfort for you and your family.

Stay in the game and decide to LIVE like I think Alice would want you to do.

  10. Wow, I just saw this as I've been 'off board' for a while.

Mr. Lancaster, thank you for the bio on your wonderful Alice. She sounds like a fantastic woman, human, and friend and I'm certain she will be dearly missed. Please let me extend my condolences to you and all friends and family. I'm sorry to hear of your loss.

  11. Bruce,

I already replied, but since I read her bio I have to say this...Speaking for everyone with a disease, I think we are cured, if just a small bit, knowing about your wife. I wish I had known her.

what an incredible woman she must have been! your words about her say it all. I can only imagine all of the people she must have touched in her lifetime!! now she has perfect vision & no broken bones, no diabetes... may she rest in peace & may you & your family have nothing but fond memories of her.

    Bruce,

My heart is breaking for you anew. Alice sounds like she is someone very special and you were blessed to have her ion your life. Thank you for sharing her and her story with us. I feel that I know both of you although I've never had the pleasure of meeting you in person. I'm sure you have more than enough support, but if you ever need to vent or just talk, PM me and we can connect.

    Take care and God bless!

Bruce, your Alice sounds like she was an amazing lady, my condolences on your loss, even though I know you are comforted by the fact that she is not in pain anymore.

I have had the gift of knowing a few folks like Alice over the years and they are all folks that give us pause and make us reflect on what is really important in life. That the stupid things we get upset about are nothing compared to what Alice faced every day and never let it keep her from living life to the fullest.

I am sure she was an inspiration to every life she touched.
