I started with a 1/8 scale 29 roadster body and frame rails, a glass display globe, a donated 392 hemi and a box of Sculpty clay, bout 500 hours later this was the result, most fun build I ever did. Has flashing lighted interior and real leather, the grill has real 22 cal bullets!
sonny , you are way over the top !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wish you lived out west ! .. thank you for your web site !!!!!!!!!!!! ... steve
Sweet Sonny! Awesome as always! Now I know what my next build is going look like. Thanks for spending my next 100K That driver looks awfully familiar. Did you have a mirror close at hand Hahahahaha! Great work Finklestien! Mazooma!
Too Cool! The fins remind me a lot of the fins on Jeff Myers' Caddy. I told him out the roundup that those quarters would have made an awesome bubbletop....then he told me they only made like 1700 of them or something like that. ha ha ha Yeah, what's the website addy anyway???
Thanks Plowboy, your Atomic Punk gave me the inspiration to finally do a bubbletop. Wish I had the talent to build the real thing.
Shit, if I can do it, anyone can. All it took was a lot of beer, welding, and grinding. ha ha ha I almost have it paid for! 4 more credit card payments and that beautiful baby is mine...... Sonny, you have moe talent in your pinky than I have in my whole body.....
A true work of art as usual Sonny. You guys have got be buggin' to something in 1/8 scale, this is definitely some inspiration! Looking forward to seeing it in person at Billetproof! Nice work. Plowboy, you still got the Punk huh? I wouldn't part with that thing, it is just way too kool! I'd keep it and drive the hell out of it!
Wow Sonny, that think is sick. I have to say I am getting excited about building my Bubble Top. Oh yeah Plow Boy, I picked up the headlights for my "Caddy Bubble Top" project the other day. Sonny I can't wait to meet you down in FL, BilletProof 09'.
I just checked out your website in detail, Sonny (thanks for the link CustomCory). Holy crap, do you ever sleep????????????????? A lot of very, very nice stuff by the way. Great work.
That thing is SWEET! Where did you source the 1/8 hemi from? I'm looking for one for my 1/8 '32 I'm building.
I feel small and untalented when I see Sonny's work. I started buying models again because of you. Haven't put any together... but I bought em.
