Technical Bucket seats

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by alphabet soup, May 8, 2025.

  1. These were listed as T-bird seats.
I was thinking 60's Mopar or maybe AMC.
I feel they have the wrong tracks because the frames were re-drilled for the current ones.
    Any idea? Thanks, Gene.

They look like 65 T-Bird to me. At least that's what they looked like in my 65.

  3. Ok, thank you

The backrest seems to square to be Ford seats. The pattern or the back of the seat does not look familiar either. Maybe there is a tag attached to the springs that may help identify them.

They don't look like tbird to me, they had a pretty metal strip up the back, not that carpeted kick panel. Pre 68 as they do not appear to have latches to prevent them folding in an accident.

  6. There is a metal tag attached to the seat springs. I don't have the number in front of me right now. I did google it and came up with a blank. Gene.

Nope, not -65 T-Bird. I have a set in my -48. T-bird have larger aluminum around the back panel and a aluminum insert. I have a extra set if interested, in Seattle area.

They look like 66 Mopar buckets to me. Not sure which application.

  13. Thanks for all the replies. I was thinking 60-something Mopar the whole time. The problem is, I knew the tracks weren't Mopar. I think Mr. Pickup might have hit it. Gene.
