Technical Budget paint options?

Agreed. I think though that any of the booths big enough to fit the car ( 195” long ) would all have a 2 blower setup

 

A good cut and buff would bring that paint back to life and save you a ton of money.

 

I got some starfire brand paint off @fastcar1953. It laid out nice and looked good

 

Since I have to do some rust repair paintwork to my truck before point of no return, I decided to get some stuff as at the very least I have to do that. I ordered an Aeropro A610 LVLP spray gun which along with the very similar R500, well known to have good results without breaking the bank running on less than optimal compressors. I managed to get one for $54. And I bought an older belt driven Sears Craftsman 10 gallon compressor that lists 9 SCFM @ 40 PSI and 6 SCFM at 90 PSI for $50. Pretty sure it’s an old Devilbiss unit. Tying the 2 compressors together, should give me more than enough volume. The A610 takes 4 CFM on paper but people report 8 CFM. Either way it should be in the green
