on the MillerOffy site there is a picture of the "Bunny" Phillips type 35 which has an early Offy motor in it.
Had a chance conversation with a bugatti owner - he told me he suffered a breakdown and rang for ***istance - the operator got all the details and then asked if it had a sidecar - he said - it's a Bugatti - Not a Ducati! Mart.
you think that is bad, try mentioning anything VW related. LOL people are people and ignorance is bliss. some of us have a certain picture in our heads of the way things were and anything that does'nt fit into that pretty little picture they just can not accept. even after you show proof of their folly. call it what you want that Bugatti is one bad*** and stunning automobile. same with the Ballamy Bugatti.
I saw a Swedish newsreel clip where there were a couple of 32 roadsters racing against Bugatti's and other racing cars. It was partly on a dry lake, then they went up a ramp and through a forest section. Mart.
To see more of this car's extraordinary construction details, go to http://www.motorsportscenter.com/article_688.shtml Beautiful!
That thing is breath taking, the workmanship and detail is incredible! Though I would call it a sports car rather than a hot rod?
I like the Kellog car a lot more after seeing those, that original pic is probably it's least flattering angle, kit car at 20 paces? ha! I vaguely remember seeing something like that now you mention it, the Ballamy car had lost it's motor before the war and was grey Holden powered. I included a Ballamy link but it didn't look like one so... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leslie_Ballamy http://www.1950sspecials.com/LMB1.htm
