Hello every body, Can somebody help me with the female connector that mounts to the outer housing of the column at the bottom, it has a slide switch for the directional lights and a bunch of spades for other functions .this column did not have a key ignition system ..I have this switch, what I need is the pigtail that would plug into it, or some info about it Thanks
Give this link a try. You can narrow down your choices if you know the number of terminals required and then try to match the connector to the terminal face of the switch. http://www.acdelcotechconnect.com/parts-catalog/wiring-sockets-pigtails-catalog/
nice link for modern cars, but they don't seem to have the old Packard 56 style connector that were used in the 1960s. Posting a picture of the thing you're trying to connect to, would be a big help.
that is the 6 pin version that fits the Chevys....I had a switch off a 66 caddy that was similar but had more terminals, I think for cornering lights. If you can't find a rivi in a junkyard to cut the pigtail off of, then you can probably cheat and use individual female 1/4" spade terminals
