    Hey gang.
I have a 65 buick 300 laying around and im thinkin about fixing that up for a future model a build.
I would like to use a2x2 carb setup on a adapter plate(as theres no speed equipment to be found)
    But, what kind of carbs?
    2xholley 94s
    2xStromberg 97s
    2xRochesters

The engine is close to stock, but will have lake style headers.

i know the adapter plate is a can of worms(Vintage Speed? Speedway) but theres notting to be found for the buick.

    Thanks!

Run a couple of Holley 94’s or two Rochester two barrels.

Yes, the parts you need are out there. We just sent a 215" out the door to a guy who's building a 5-speed ****** version.

No, they're thin on the ground, not cheap, not on the Summit site, but they're around. If one is going to work with the obsolete stuff, he's got to put in the time at swap meets, internet, club websites. Studebaker and Packard guys been doing that for sixty years now.

Yes, there was a 2x2 intake which were available for old Stromberg 97s or drilled for then-current Rochester carbs.

Given your location, you might come out better making some sort of adapter for a locally available transmission. I'm ***uming a manual transmission. You can find stock bellhousings and flywheels on Ebay, but shipping ******s would get expensive. Adapt some easily available trans with an overdrive or two and have a great daily driver.

I have that sorted, both orginal auto and a bellhousing for a gm trans. So no worries there. Thanks

215 intake doesn’t fit the 300. Camshafts will interchange as there are performance ones available.
