I am at the beginning of my next project. It is an exciting time because all options are pretty much open. What I have so far is an original '31 Ford coupe body, original model A frame with numbers, 1956 Olds engine and trans. Lots of pieces left over from building cars for customers over the years.
One of the things I have always liked were the aluminum front brake drums on the old builds. I have 2 or maybe 3 sets of these drums. I would like yo use them rather than go to disc,s. I seem to remember that there was an article in an old hot rod magazine some years ago detailing how to use these.
Does anyone out there have a source of information? I know that Socal has a disc brake hidden in a replica drum kit. But if I could use what I have ,that would make me happy.
Thanks for any help you might give.

Look in the second line of 'possibles' and use 'search' to find posts and links. It is a simple matter of typing in key words for information. Or, you can wade through the archived tech articles. I prefer the latter, most of the time, because 'serendipity' deals up stuff you didn't know you wanted to know. And, it's great reading because the admins have already sniffed out most of the blarney.

Thank you so much. I am new to the forum, and not sure of the procedures. This is exactly what I need.
