I'm a 31 yr old tinner from Omaha. I've had all kinds of old cars, but i've narrowed it down to Buicks for the most part. Until about 2 weeks ago when I went to look at a Nailhead and it turned out to be a '56 Olds mated to a '39 Ford Toploader. I just recently started to get parts together to build my Nailhead and throw it in some heap, but now I have an Olds motor that runs and has a ******. I guess I'm at the point where I need to find a ch***is to drop the motor into. Anyway, these are the cars I own right now, '67 Skylark Conv,'67 GS 400 Conv(1 of 9)3 speed stick,'67 GS 400 hdtp 4-speed, and a '66 Polara Wagon. The Skylark and Polara are both clean drivers. The GS conv is a donor car being cut up right now. The GS hdtp is awaiting a new motor. I know these cars don't fit in with the board too much, but I think I do. I guess thats about it, any questions or comments feel free to contact me. Brian
Love Buicks....57 is my fave. I grew up in Omaha. Good to see another member of the Mild Kingdom on the board. Nebraska is a dream land for old tin, in my opinion. I remember driving by farms with Ts and As etc. just sitting out in a field all the time when I was a kid, and there are plenty of bone yards there that are full of cool old cars. Drop that Olds in a 32 5 window Ford if you can find one. Nebraska is no place for an open car.
Omaha Nebraska? Cool... Hays Kansas here, we'll have to get together sometime, maybe tear up main street Omaha Welcome!
