    Hi all,

I've got a buick 320ci straight 8 (for a 28 Buick Speedster project) and I'm waiting for four side draft Carter YH carbs to arrive (these are the same carbs that were used on the 53-54 Corvette but I'll have one extra. The Corvette straight 6 was a 253Ci motor so I figured 83ci per carb ... x4 equals 337ci ... close enough to the 320ci I have.

What I'm after now is throttle linkage advice from anyone who has a straight 8 with multiple carbs especially SDs. Did you use an off the shelf kit, did you have to adapt/modify a kit (or multiple kits, like say using two dual carb kits) or did you have to design and manufacture your own from scratch and where did you buy your kits or bits and who made them (if off the shelf)
I'm interested in geometry, mounting pounts and lots of photos. I have the added complication in that I live in Aus so right hand drive and the carbs will be on the left...

Looking forward to reading your replies

    Thanks for your time.

Good luck with finding a catalog kit. You sorta answered your own question; find a '53-'54 RHD 'Vette and replicate what Chevy did.
