Ok.Thats not totaly true. We just picked up a 36 Ford 5 window from our customer today. It is a running car right now. But we are chopping it 5 inchs. Plus the frame is junk some one cliped it with camaro sub frame. So we are replace the frame four bar the rear, put a mustang II in it, and bag so we can put the frame on the ground. Also plump the whole thing, new stearing coulmn, and rase the tunnel. Than there are all the extra crap to involved in swiching frames. I will try to post pictures as I go like I did on the 55 ford we sectioned before Billet Proof. Thanks Scott

Day one Tear down. We got a lot done. Pulled the glass, seat, front clip, motor and trans. Stipped the roof and started bracing up the body for the chop.Tomarrow I'm picking up the replacment frame and all the front end parts. Plus we shoud be ready to start on the chop. It's ammazing what crap work some one will do to sell a car. Someone ground the shaft comming out of the stearing box into a square. The coulmn mount was sweet to. the engine was solid mounted.Check the pictures. Thanks Scott

Here is todays progress report. I spent most of the day running down parts. The replacement frame,Front crosmember from rotor to rotor, new pedal assembely with master cyl. While Donny was hammering some of the waves in the areas we were getting ready to cut. Then about 5:30 it was time to start on the chop. I left at about 9:30 and we were taching in the rear window area in. Here are some picture of to days progress. Scott

I forgot my camera to day so no pictures. Today was a little slow on the car. We started welding up the seam at the belt line under the rear window and ran out of argon. The replacement frame was not as clean as we had hoped . Se wasted some time trying to track down some thing better. with no luck. So we decided to just use the front clip of the replacement frame. To unclip the camaro clip. So I boxed the new rails and cleaned them up. I think we are on track for Paso. Thanks Scott

todays progress. We got a little farther on the chop. We started cutting down the quarter glass opening and finished up one front piller. On to the frame we patched up some bad spots and started fitting up the new crossmember. With one small modifcation we put it in a inch lower than thay come. What's a inch you say . All the differance when you add droped spindles and air bags. Low very low. Scott
