We got a lot farther on the chop today. We got the quarter window on the driver side buttoned up and started on the driver door. All in between cleaning up the shop for our open house on Sunday. Thats it for now here's the pictures. Thanks Scott

We got alot done over the weekend and monday. The driver side of the quarter window is finished and the right side is about 1/2 way done. Sunday we had our open house it was cool we had a good time i will do anouther post about that though.
Today I tached in the new crossmember in the new frame. Than cut the camaro clip off the old frame. The rest of the day was spent gringing and fitting the two frame sections together. So tomarow they should be one again. Thanks Scott.

I thought that 5" was way to much but this is looking fantastic. What a lot of work though. Keep the pictures coming.

just a question, but, is the rear window getting chopped a little?..... I'm not questioning your design, I think it's a cool idea to have a rear window in a chopped car that you can see out of. but since the other windows are so obviously heavily chopped, that stock height rear window seems a bit out of place....... I know this reads a bit uppity, believe me I'm not trying to be that way......

This is a very exciting thread.

Thanks for posting so many pictures so we can all track the progress. I know I often sound like a broken record telling people how much I like to see in-progress shots, but it really gives me a shot to see other people putting in hard work and getting real results.

The work looks great and I'll keep checking back. We're all pulling for ya!

Most likley we will have to some thing about the wirring. It looks like they were having a sale on yellow wire when you look under the dash. All the brake lines to the front have to be done. We are planning to replace the fuel tank and the line looks a little crusty. So yes to all of the above. Scott

Today I welded the front clip back on the car and checked that it would go low enough. Phill worked on the pasanger side of the chop. the chop is getting close to done we hope that not much later than monday we will be on the garnish mouldings. Tomarow I will be on the motor and trans mounts and finishing up the front end. Thats it for tonight. thanks Scott

There was a camaro subframe in the car. So I had to cut that out. Because the car would not go low enough. Scott

Today i forgot my camera . But we got the transmission mount done, The brake pedal put in. We also started to cut the rear window opening down 2"s. That made a big differance on the look of the back of the car. I should have the front end finished up tomarrow and get started on the rear end. Thanks Scott
