This was a 22 second clip but don’t know how to post. Came as just a picture? Oh well still looks good to me and sounds great.

Yep, I'm officially jealous. Looks great. Hope you can figure out the video.
Curious, do you really think you will need the power steering?

My cowl steering is setup to be power so I thought I’d just go with it.

Yes I have read all of the threads on why not to do cowl steering but I have always wanted to have it. If it doesn’t drive well enough I’ll pull it out and change it. If I wanted precise handling, great power, and great ride quality, I wouldn’t have chosen to build a car with > than 60 year old technology front to back. (I have a new ‘vette for that)

Progress is being made slowly. I’m liking IMG_0204.jpeg the look!

If your rear main seal leaks, it's because the steel rods that get driven in to spread the seal go on the crank side of the seal, not the outside of the seal. When driven in on the outside of the seal, they push the seal away from the block.

So some progress has been made. Took a short drive down my street yesterday, some popping and spitting but otherwise made it up and back. Tuning and troubleshooting to be done piece by piece. IMG_0221.jpeg

Do you have the before /after numbers for sonic-checking the block? My 56 ECZ-A block is + .060. I'm hoping it will clean up with another .010-.015, but I don't know how much larger I can go.

Well now it’s a hot rod. I’ve been driving it all over. Have maybe 400 miles on it. Love the overdrive turning 1500 rpm at 60 mph. Yblocks are torque strong and so it is happy low down then comes alive if you step on it and let it rev. Overall quite happy with the car. Now to drive the wheels off of it! IMG_0243.jpeg
