To answer some questions, here they are:

The chop is 7" in the rear and 7.5" in the front to give the car that racey bonneville look.

You guessed it with the yellow plug wires! I have to get rid of the those things. The previous owner had those on for some god aweful reason. The engine compartment isnt done yet and whne it is. I will be sure to post some pictures.

The McCullough supercharger will be coming later. I have to go through it before I install in on the engine. Its going to be one cool flathead.

Thanks everybody for the support and positive feedback. I have always dreamed of buiding and owning a hot rod that takes on that bonneville/dry lakes look. Its a lot of work but more then worth seeing the end result. I need to post a picture of what the car used to look like. Oh and I totally screwed up. a Build thread would have been great but I am so far along on the car that there is not fabrication work left to really show. I never really have a camera in the garage to take pictures but I just got a new one and thought id snap some of the recent progression of my hot rod. Thanks guys!

Those are to come. The interior is just a mess of wires right now.

Cool thanks! My '33 is already chopped with angle chop but it's more pronounced and I was thinking about taking another 1.5-2" out of it to level it out a bit.

Oh the Cal Neva is a nice touch too.

Mike, I would love to see how your rear crossmember turned out. Mine is done. I boxed the bottom area on the ends for added strength. Stance looks spot on. Your car is proof mine will sit right now.Did you use the T spring like I am? Thanks. PM your number and we will chat. It's been a few weeks since I have talked to Ray and Rory. Are you going to make it to the GNRS in Jan? I can not wait till we can all roll together at B-ville. I'm trying. Dale

Lakes style 33-34 coupes really do it for me. You are a very lucky man with one gorgeous car. Congrats! Can't wait to see more pics and more progress.

Yes! I too really dig how this sits, especially the rear and the rear frame horns. What did you do to the floors in the trunk and the frame horns to sit it like this?

Ya I'll post some pictures of how we set up the rear end and the way the floor is. The model a rear crossmember sits up into the floor quite a bit. I'm using a model t spring to get another couple inches lower in the rear.

My coupe was chopped by a friend of mine who lives in Southern cal. His specialty is chopping 33/34 3 windows. He did a spectacular job on the chop. I would recommend him to anybody. He does top notch work.

Hey Dale! I'll get you some pictures. We took your advice from the pictures you initially sent me. Couldn't of turned out better.

Thanks guys for the positive response on my car. I will be sure to keep everybody updating on this thread.

Comet, Ill be doing a build post in the near future and you will see how I do it. I am finishing up adding my 32 reveals into the side of my 34 frame. It is turning out pretty cool. I wanna get that portion done before I post pics. I think you'll dig it. Lot's of work though.

  26. like everyone else, look forward to seeing more photo's and hearing about the detail, as it's sadly a path not commonly tread, but right up my alley.:D

Props to you guys, and look forward to seeing/hearing more.

    Cheers,

    Drewfus:)
