Hot Rods Building a 302 small block chevy

Have my 302 crank.

 

NICE!!!!!.....

 

The December, 1969 issue of Car Craft magazine showed how to build a Z28 302" using
all of the over the counter GM parts of the day. Great reading and insight....

 

I'll look for that at Swap Meets. 69 Car Craft.

 

Anybody else notice some parts that don't quite match up to the story line?

LS7 CRANK & PISTONS SOLD $600
427 CRANK L72 6223 & 454 BLOCK and 781 Heads still available.

 

Might have second 302 crank balanced to Super Rods heading over. Arias pistons.

Thinking that small finned rocker cover is for a..............

Piston I'm leaning toward. DSS offered in many oversized. DSS are showing readily available.
I have not checked with CP Carillo yet.
