Motion Pictures Building a Bubble Top Custom

There's a show on MAVTV this Friday that features a bubble top build and Gene Winfield makes an appearance. Here's the promo video:

I was into it till he did some metal work with a carpenters hammer!

 

He builds stiff a lot like I do, does the best with what he has on hand. One of the better build shows in the tube as far as I'm concerned.

 

Got to appreciate anyone that does it themselves. If you like it or not, got to give him credit for doing it with his own hands.

 

I bought a car video (Back from the Ashes maybe?) out of the $5 bin at Walmart and this craftsman is in quite a bit of it. Talented and interesting guy. I think I saw him an a few episodes of that show where two teams have a build-off using the same base cars to start with.
