    I like your style...
You just do what it takes to make what you need...and you take pride in your work.
In my mind thats the purest form of Hot Rodding.

    Good post.

It isn't as much the fabrication work but the tools you are using. Couldn't imagine what you could do with some real sheet metal machines.

    Very creative and nice!!

Great tech and thanks for sharing your talent. Sometimes even if it cost more than you could buy something for, the feeling of accomplishment in creating it yourself is well worth the expence.

You are F'n good that is some old school right there. It amaz'es me the shit I learn on the hamb. It's guys like you that keep this hot rod thing alive. doing it with wood blocks and clamps. no machine press or china bs just old school the way it's done. great job looks great. you inspire me to do it my self. it is totaly different when you say that you made somthing from scratch. cool cool cool .

Well done BeaterMan. I wish I'd known about the air hammer trick before i made the Caddy patch panels. I like the way it hasn't puckered.

  20. The rotation of the earth axis would be altered if any more stock ford body parts were moved to the other side of the globe..:)
possibly affecting compasses and other world phenomenon..

We ain't zactly happy about our old crushed tin being shipped to the far east either...they ship it right back tho..

I've made a 36 one. They are basically the same design, just a different shape.Worked out fine.I did approach this one a little differently though.I'll see if i can find some pics.

Back again.Had some enquires as to how this going, not made a great deal of progress. But have started roughing out the skin.Plus i've added a couple more holes and rounded off the top corners of the frame.

    Clamped and ready to form..

This is how it looks and fits for now.It really is just a start and needs a fair bit of working yet to get the edges nice and sharp etc....

Wow, that makes trying to get my welding cart square when I weld it up very small taters.

Very well done and very educational for the rest of us.
