    Crashhead, Your truck is rad!

  2. Hey man. Well, i was looking for chrome reverse to replace the '41 Ford steelies with, but since i couldn't find any good ones, i went with the old Americans instead. For the future i might go with chrome reverse all around.
No plans for paint right now, maybe in the future, but that would involve alot of the chassie parts being chromed, and i don't wanna deal with that now. Just driving it and havin fun!

  3. Just having fun in the sun! Nothing have failed yet, it runs real good and smooth. Had it out in 100 F weather, and it keeps kool. Keepin my eyes open for a complete 6 carb intake for next summer. Will probably be be taking care of the rust issues this winter as well.
But for now, it's a great dailly driver!

    LMAO. Love the pic.

  8. Haha, glad to hear that!
Just replaced the generator, and the transmission is dripping a little. Still not pulled over a single time, almost feels bad. Will drive it for a few more months, then iäll put it up on stands for a while.
Gonna take care of all the rust this coming winter. Put chrome reverse rims on up front, and thinner white walls. Replace the mesh on the grille shell insert with a real 32 insert.
    Small things...
Plans are to drive it next summer in primer, then hopefully paint it after that....

  10. Ok, so it's been a while. But, the A is soon coming back together again. I repaired all rust on the cab while Matt Seret at Seret Speed replaced the doorpanels.
The bed has been sandblasted and straightened out..somewhat.
The front and rear end has been painted flat black.
We decided to replace the 16" front tires, and will be running 15" Hurst bias ply's on old chrome reversed rims.
There will be some kind of cheap interior as well.

The body will get a coat of some dark copper base metallic , the dash and firewall will be painted off white.

Nothing fancy or highly detailed at all, just taking it up one little notch, and looking forward to a long great summer!!

How does the scoop work on the gas tank hole? Does it pull a lot of air?

  23. No it is completely worthless and just for looks and fun! Since we drove it without transmission tunnel and no side windows ast year, we got the fresh air anyways..Haha

  24. Here is what it looks like now....

    AWESOME. perfect look.

  27. Wow. I am absolutely in love. If you don't mind me asking, how tall are you and how uncomfortable is the interior??

  28. I am 5.11 and believe it or not. It is a very comfortable ride..We'll drive it for the summer, then it will most likely come up for sale as we have other projects that needs our limited space.

  29. Finally time to just drive and have fun! Everything works great. The new front tires is 15" instead of the 16" rims and tires we had last year. Gave it even more of the rake we wanted, and made it lower. Many fun miles ahead for sure.
