Hey MAn, sounds like your 4 door was hanging with my 4 door, with all the rust and sh*t you dealt with.. Boy are you going to get creamed for that interior, and you already got it for the wheels. So I'll jump on th bandwagon, love the car, but hmmm the wheels? Ackkk who gives a rats ass. Its your car.. Good Job Man! 4 Door Mercs Rule....

way to go Sam---the reason there are o many styles of wheels is THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT STYLES OF PEOPLE. Traditional rodders from the 40's and 50's were always looking for something different/better. Otherwise there would not have been flatheads, then Arduns, then Mopar hemis, etc., etc. Wish this viewpoint would vanish.

Blackwalls and black wheels. Nice Merc

  8. Overall a great build, a considerable effort to get the car to where it is now, lots of cutting, fabricating welding for sure.

Don't you love it when you first get into a project and your heart drops to the floor? Kudos for sticking with it.

Dude, sweet ride. I've got a 51 moredoor also and I absolutely love your wheels. I'm going all white with my ride and gonna run black rims like yours. When you do the chop, are you gonna do it or hire it out?

  12. Nice job. I just shake my head when folks criticize the vision of others. I put a blown flathead in my Merc. Did they come that way from the factory? Nope, but it is what I wanted. I like your attitude. Do what you like and forget the name callers.

hey, i remember the late 80ties and early 90ties when my car was a lonesom rider as traditional and nearly every car looked like yours.

At every show i was told to change these unsave diagonals and drumbraekes to mondern parts.

I told these guys that i waited nearly one year to get these tires and payed even tree times more for them

even won customerchoice because they never seen and traditional kustom befor.

So i am really happy that the style customising started came back today...

I accept everyones taste. But often i dont understand why s.o. destroyes a car only to be special.

I love what the Japanese do, bring beautifull things to perfection!!!

So keep going on... but think twice on what you are doing :)
