He has since deleted the "before" photo that showed that it was a pretty nice looking all shiny black rag top before he put his "spin" on it. If that wasn't the actual before photo and he can show us actual photos of it being clapped out before he decided to put his art work on it I'll think different. I've seen a half dozen cars in this area that were pretty nice within the past five years that guys thought would get more attention with "patina" and they sanded the paint down to a lot of bare spots and let them rust. It seems to be an idiotic fad to me.
it’s perfectly fine to not like the style, but one should respect that others like different things, that’s what this whole old car thing is about. To be honest not how I would have done the car but who am I to criticize what he likes…hell very few people like lime green Fargo’s but that didn’t stop me from building one.
Funny the line moves back and forth on the HAMB. I’m not a fan of distressing things, be it a car or a barn. But seems some get a lot of “atta boys” for doing so, others get pooped on. As mentioned before, he’s driving and enjoying it, my shit is hibernating. I’ve learned not to give an opinion unless asked.
The HAMB. The automotive HOA of hotrodding. And not the good one either. More like the annoying one that sends that assjacket around to measure your front lawn and tell you what you can park in your garage and driveway.
