Can anyone tell me if they make and where I can find chrome bullet style dust caps. . Not big 4 inch ones that go over my entire hub... just ones that replace my original dust cap.. ??? Thanks for the help

  2. I have never really seen any but there is no reason thy you couldn't find a bullet the correct diameter and attach it to the original dust cover. If is you got a lathe and a piece of aluminum pig you could spin a pair out.

Might need some machining but I've thought that these chain link post caps look pretty good $(KGrHqYOKnUE49qmmmGhBOc4,HSlRw~~60_35.JPG

I'm not trying to get too far away from the question...
But I had a hard time finding quality bullets for my hubcaps. I ended up getting a really nice real chrome over copper from eBay. They kinda looked like these:

If you can't find a set of bullet dust covers you can easily punch a hole in your original and screw this type over it if you find the correct diameter. The good ones have one screw post in the middle and three around the outside edge and they provide screws as well.

I'm like P-n-B I don't ever remember seeing bullet shaped dust caps either advertised or on a vehicle.
I'd think that you would have to find a bullet that would slip over the existing dust cap and fasten to it most likely by being held on with an adhesive or epoxy.
