Day one. Tech, test and tune.
BP p***es tech with no issues. Running in g***er cl***, which wound up with only 4 people in it.
Somehow he wound up with car number 53. Pretty neat since his car is a 53.
Saw a lot of cars I've never seen, met a lot of people I've never met. Had a blast!

I didnt' see many of the cars run today, it was just a test-n-tune day, the real racing starts tomorrow. The sick second camaro ran a mid 7 at 137 ( guess he let off half track?)

There are a lot of wicked fast cars....and just lots of neat cars.

I made one run in my 55, ran 11.52 shifting a bit early. Car felt good, ran good, so I feel more confident that I'll survive the week

 

All of you guys have fun, looks like it will be great times.

 

I guess spectators are allowed, so I will see you guys in Great Bend.

Drag Week spectator info! All race times are 9 to noon except the finals on Friday, 3 pm to finish.
9/11-12 at Heartland Park Topeka, FREE.
9/13 at SRCA Great Bend, Kansas, FREE.
9/14 at Amarillo Dragway, $10 adult, $5 kid.
9/15 at Tulsa Raceway Park, FREE.
Finals on 9/16 in Topeka, $10 adults, $5 kids.

I might not be able to make it. Critique in one of my graphic design cl***es is this Wednesday. The worst part is it's 9:00am-11:45am, so by the time I get out and get down there, y'all will be packing up to leave. I doubt we'll stay that long.. It usually takes a hour, hour and half. We'll see.

Could get ready in time for this year, but definetly planning on next year. Hope they keep the g***er cl*** even though only 4 cars showed up.

Hey guys (Squirrel, BulletProof, and Rashy).. Thanks for letting me nose around your cars. Good to see y'all got there safely. I'd also like to thank you, Rashy, for being patient with me. I know it's awkward and hard to communicate with a deaf person but you did great.
