Bum deal on a motor I bought

Wow. Look at this from that guy's side. How the hell does he know after a year that you're not trying to scam him with some other motor? Forget it, lesson learned - do the research BEFORE you buy, don't wait a year to do it.

It's "Whinging" [ as in 'Whinging Pom", a traditional Aussie saying ]

Winging it , is how most people build cars without a clue about them.

Mind you he was probably "winging it" when he ID'd the "312"

 

Just sell it and try to recoupe some money other then that idk. I went and bought a nice small block 327 once. Got home and dropped it in my car. Took it for a rip and it was a load. Checked the numbers. It was a 307. Yes the guy lied. But im the dum *** that bought it. It was a cheap lesson. When you do this stuff. Dont just take some ones word for it. People will tell you anything to make a sale. Not every one. But some.


So you learned a lesson and got 272 out of the deal. Sweet lesson.
