1952-59 Ford Bumblebee 2 tone

Discussion in 'Off Topic Hot Rods & Customs' started by 38fordpickup, Feb 28, 2022.

  1. Did Ford ever put the yellow /black 2 tone on a Fairlane 4 door? I've seen many convertible, Victoria, and Crown Vic bumblebees but never a Club Sedan or Town Sedan. Thinking of doing my Fairlane Town Sedan as a bumblebee, mild custom, shaved hood and deck

If I were doing it I would check out one to see how the interior paint and upholstery was in one of the more common one that used it. If it’s a 55 the Victoria would be the closest but Town and Club sedans interiors were way different than the converts and Vic’s. Maybe that’s why we never saw one there was no interior for a solid yellow either but I know there were blacks.

Years ago an old friend picked up a 68 Ranchero that he went through it to make it his DD. Painted it yellow with a black roof. Called it his "bruised banana".
