Bumper or no bumper on a taildragger?

    If there's no front bumper there shouldn't be a rear. However a roll pan or something like that would look tacky. Maybe some bumperettes?

    My 2 cents are to leave both bumpers, just suck them in close to the body. If you really going for the taildragger look, that would be it. You could even put the tail lights in the bumpergaurds and shave them off the body....

    I'm going to try & post some before and after pics of my 42 Plymouth. The first is without a bumper the second with. I think it looks good both ways but like it just a little more with.

    I went no bumpers and now wish I had them (I am going to add them due to the fact that I havn't painted her yet)

    I say put some on and then help me decide which ones I should get

    My Pops has a 41 2dr sedan. He's ditched the bumpers. The front end looks so good without it. One of the most beautiful grilles ever. But I'm starting to wonder about a rollpan for the rear. I think it will make the rear of the car look to big/fat/round. I agree with the continuity, either both bumpers or no bumpers. I think, in your case, I'd do bumpers, of some sort.
